Hydra is one of the Saronic Islands of Greece. The island is deservedly one of the most popular travel destinations from Athens. Port of Hydra has a beautiful location in the harbor inside, with white-painted houses in the hills on both sides of the blue sea. Motor transport is banned in Hydra. The city center is small enough to get around on foot while the donkeys, bicycles, and water taxis provide public transport around the island.
