Bamiyan

Bamiyan is the place where two giant Buddha statues carved into the cliff side and made in the 6th century. Actually, this work is the statue that stands firmly on the world's highest before was destroyed by the Taliban in 2001.Shelter cave at the foot of the statue which was destroyed in the past is where thousands of monks lived, but later became a place where the Taliban to save his gun.After the Taliban retreated from the area, residents began using the abandoned caves as their homes.
