Atacama Desert and Antarctica

Atacama is one of the strange sights in the world: the desert that did not get rain. Salt basins, sand and lava cover most of the region has an area of 40 000 enterprises square miles (103,600 square km) of this. In fact, NASA designed the Mars test here. This place is also one of the best places in the world to conduct astronomical observations. There are two major observatories.
- Antarctica 
Antarctica is a place that truly untouchable. 96 percent of the continent is ice covered, with an average thickness of more than one mile (1.6 km). Penguins, whales, seals and sea birds use the waters around Antarctica in search of food.
