Uqba Mosque, Tunisia (Built in 670 AD) and Mosque of Imam Hussein, Iraq (Built in 680 AD)

Uqba Mosque, Tunisia (Built in 670 AD) 
The mosque is also known as the Great Mosque of Kairouan, and located in the UNESCO World Heritage sites in the city of Kairouan. Built by General Uqba bin Nafi in the year 670 with an area of almost 9,000 square meters. Mosque is widely used as models in the African region, besides being a Muslim monument building the largest and most impressive ever.

The mosque is located in the Shiite holy city, Karbala. In it, stands the tomb of Imam Husein, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad who died in the Battle of Karbala in the year 680. Every year, millions of people make pilgrimages to the tomb, especially when warning Asyuro (the death anniversary of Imam Husen).
