Santorini (Greece)

Located about 200 miles southeast of mainland Greece, Santorini island formed by the remnants of the explosion of a huge volcano that destroyed the previous settlements is one of the island. Minoan eruption that occurred about 3,600 years ago at the height of Minoan civilization, leaving a large caldera surrounded by hundreds of volcanic ash deposits and may be an indirect cause of the collapse of the Minoan civilization on Crete. Spectacular physical beauty and vibrant nightlife, making this city into one of the favorite tourist destination of Europe.
