Rest Islands located off the northeast coast of Malaysia is not far from the border of Thailand. The two main islands are Great stop ("Big Rest") and the Rest of Small ("Small Station"). Both islands have white sandy palm fringed beaches and turquoise blue sea. Scuba-diving, snorkeling, and swimming is the most popular tourist activities here. At most beaches, shallow water with many rays, cuttlefish and cockatoos. Besides walking, the only means of transport are water taxis.
