Ometepe: World's Oldest Island of Volcanoes Formed
Ometepe: is one of the oldest island in the world. Formed from two volcanoes sticking out of the lake Nicaragua in the Republic of Nicaragua. Its name comes from the Nahuatl word ome (two) and tepetl (mountain), meaning two mountains. Two volcanoes Concepción and Maderas it is.
