GUNUNG AGUNG

 Climbing to the summit of Mount Agung can be reached from severalhiking paths:
»Line Besakih
»Line Strait
»Line Datah
»Land Line Aron
Besakih Line:
Climbing activity which is strongly influenced by religious ceremonies,in the sense Climbing Mount Agung only be done if there is no religiousceremony. On the feast of Brass or Galungan for example, the climbcan only be conducted after 14 days later.
Another ceremony commonly performed keagaaman locals at Temple(Pure Agung Besakih), usually associated with the closing ceremony ofEka Dsa climbing activities Rudra (100 years or so, in March), PancaWali Krama ceremony (10 years, in March), Bhetara ceremony kabehDown (1 year, in April).
From Denpasar to the village of Besakih have to ride public transportation locals call it Bemo. Arriving at the terminal Menanga notover at 14:00 pm because there is already another vehicle. [taon 2000,i do not know if now]
From Pure Besakih, this path has stairs, after going through the pathwe will find two buildings that resemble the post climbers, locals call itBengong Bale.
After making the climb less than 8 hours and pass through the rockyterrain of sand mix, plus a sun that stung, quite exhausting. Arriving at the post Boike (climber), the locals named Corri Great climbers usuallyused for nge-camp. from here not too far back towards the summit.
