Spider Rock

Red sand stone monolith with a height of 244 m (800 ft) of this stunning National Parks in Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. Formedmore than 230 million years ago through the formation of the layers of soil by wind. Its name is derived from the legend of Spider NajavoWowan (Spider Woman) who make it their home. It is said that he was appointed as the savior and revered like a god.
