Lake Tasikardi, Banten

Lake Tasikardi derived from two syllables, namely Tasik which meanslake and Kardi which means artificial. Yes, indeed Tasikardi Lake is anartificial lake. At the time of initially only be used as a source of waterfor agriculture and later functioned as a water source that irrigates RaraDenok bathing pool in the Palace of Surosowan. Before the waterenters the pool bathhouse Rara Denok first water from Lake Tasikardiexperience or the screening process more commonly known aspengindelan process. Pengindelan process itself runs until past 2screening tool. But when I arrived unfortunately, time was getting late sodid not get to see the cloudy sky plus pengindelannya tools have a peek. To get to Lake Tasikardi can be passed smoothly through the relativelysmooth roads and the green expanse of rice fields on either side of the road. Rectangular-shaped lake was built during the reign of SultanAbdul Sultan Mufakhir aka Canary (1598-1650). Due to the artificiallake will not be surprised if the sides of the lake is made of walls and so does the bottom of Lake Tasikardi who reputedly paved with redmarble. In the middle of Lake Tasikardi there is a small island where in it there is a small house. The atmosphere at Lake Tasikardi is quitecool because of the many big trees around the lake
