Mount Thor, Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada

Located in Auyuittuq National Park, Canada, the western part of themountain peaks Thor or Thor, rising as high as 1675 m (5495 ft)and was recorded as the world's tallest cliff. Remoteness and thevertical angle of 105 degrees makes it a favorite for rock climbersand a camping site. Peak granite are also parts that make up the mountains of Baffin first climbed by a team from the Arctic Instituteof North America in 1953. Longest rappel in this mountain until recently was made on July 23, 2006 by a group of young Americans. Thor mountain beauty can be found in the film "TheSongs Remain The Same".
