Krakatau(Aug. 26-27, 1883)dan Pompeii (79 A.D)
When Krakatoa erupted in an explosion on the 4th August 1883, the volcano was releasing three cubic miles of magma and was equal to the energy force an atomic bomb. The explosion heard up thousands of miles away. Krakatoa explosion shocked the whole nation-state Pacific Ocean, the explosion caused the entire island of Krakatau sink to the ocean floor and sank more than 100 surrounding islands.
As a result of the eruption of Krakatoa, 36,000 deaths, mostly caused by the Tsunami. Ash from the explosion of Krakatoa even get to New York by air and sea, causing the drop in temperature around the world for a year.
