Damavand, Iran

Elburz Mountains stands a large and fascinating because they rely on the Caspian Sea northeast of Tehran. Damavand peak's altitude from 18,400 feet (5612 meters) to more than 19,000 feet (5795 meters). Steam rising from hot springs and fumaroles that pockmark the volcano is dormant, and two small glaciers provide stunning scenery.
